The Junior High curriculum consists of a seven period day which includes the following daily:
Religion Language Arts: Grammar/Composition/Spelling Mathematics Science (7th- Earth Science; 8th - Physical Science) Social Studies (7th - World Geography/Cultures; 8th - American History) Reading/Literature Physical Education and Spanish classes are held twice a week. Art, Music, Library/Media and Computer classes are held once a week.
Qualified 8th graders may take high school level French I and Honors Algebra at Duchesne High School.
All 7th graders present a project in a Science Fair and all 8th graders participate in the National History Day and Woodmen of the World Civic Oration competitions.
Field trips throughout the year may include, among others, Omaha Opera, Hayrack Ride/ Hot dog roast, UNL/Nebraska State Fair.
Every other year interested students may take a three day trip to Washington, D.C.
Extra curricular opportunities include: Competitions: Math, science, history, speech, music, and art Sports: soccer, football, volleyball, basketball, baseball, softball, and track Music: band, select choir, and Camerata strings group
