Hot Lunch Program

Hot lunch is provided in the cafeteria through the Westside Community School Lunch Program. The cost is $3.00 per lunch and reduced lunch is $0.40. Lunch may be purchased on a daily ($3.00), weekly ($15.00), or pack of 20 ($60.00) basis. Weekly lunch is paid for on the previous Wednesday or Thursday. For your convenience, lunch purchased in packs of 20, or multiples of 20, may be paid for through EFT.

Please consider taking advantage of this option. It is most convenient for several reasons:

a) Parents don't have to worry about students forgetting or losing their lunch money.

b) Parents don't have to deal with arranging for lunch every day or remember to get the lunch money into the backpack.

As lunch is ordered from Westside every morning, lunches must be ordered and paid for by 8:45 AM. Lunch requests cannot be added or changed after Westside has been called with our final counts for the day (about 8:45 AM). Therefore, if a student is arriving late to school due to an appointment or illness, lunch will not be provided for them unless they have pre-paid.

For those pre-paying for lunch, credit will be given for each day a child is absent - not just bringing a sack lunch.

For those students bringing their lunch to school or wanting additional milk, milk may be purchased at $.30 per carton. Students are invited to purchase milk for the week for $1.50. Just as with lunch, this is paid for on the previous Wednesday or Thursday.
